Lost Valley invites you to a limited number of specialty days each month. These may include sport shooting or fishing as the guests request. No more than 6 visitors will be on the ranch for these events. If you request these events please be sure your fishing or hunting license is current and you have any necessary tags.
Wild Boar have been running around these hills for quite some time. They have bred with escaped domesticated pigs. They have very few, if any, natural enemies. Except, of course, we humans. Mountain Lions will take a small boar, when the mother is not around. A pack of coyotes might be able to take an old or injured one. These animals are capable of having 4 litters per year with an average of 6 piglets. As the math tells you, they can become quite a pest. They tear up fields, decimate crops and make a mess of the hillsides. This in turn causes much greater erosion than normal. I think the trait that aggravates me the most, they get the edible mushrooms before we humans have a chance.
